This collection includes a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, a matching watch face, and customizable iOS and iPadOS wallpapers.
Starting May 22, you can purchase the Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop for Rs 9,500. Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, it is compatible with Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 4, and newer models. This watch band, inspired by multiple pride flags, reflects the strength and beauty of LGBTQ+ communities. It features a laser-etched lug that reads “PRIDE 2024.”
For the first time, the Pride collection wallpapers can be customized to display a spectrum of colors representing the diversity and vibrancy of LGBTQ+ communities. These dynamic wallpapers for iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch will be available through a software update (watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5, and iPadOS 17.5) on eligible models. The wallpapers feature beams of light that glow against a dark background and stack on top of each other, symbolizing the impact of LGBTQ+ activism and its role in illuminating the path to greater equality.
The colors in the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop have deep meaning: black and brown represent Black, Hispanic, and Latin communities, as well as those impacted by HIV/AIDS, while pink, light blue, and white hues represent transgender and nonbinary individuals.
